The memory of my trip to Vancouver feels as though a hazy and distant fever dream. Did I actually go? Was it real life? What did I do? With each passing day, as I fell deeper and deeper into exhaustion and the cold and dreary dampness of the Pacific winter seeped into my bones, my frame of mind slowly unraveled. Although I must admit that what I ate during this time escapes me, the details being blurry and dull at best, I can say that Hawksworth Restaurant in the Hotel Georgia is one of the fine dining destinations of Vancouver. If you find yourself in this city and in the mood to celebrate - or to feel just plain fancy - this is the place.
